Senior SAP BASIS Consultant
- Work as part of SAP implementation, upgrade, and conversion projects with responsibility for technical delivery.
- Collaborate with SAP Delivery teams across on-premise, SAP RISE private cloud, and SAP public cloud environments.
- Participate in internal and client workshops to gather and clarify technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage and monitor tasks assigned to Basis team members.
- Handle technical issues and coordinate with SAP support for product-related matters.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical outputs based on project plans.
- Lead solution alignment and provide technical consultations and demos to stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing technical inputs and solution proposals.
- Deliver technical training sessions and provide post-go-live user support.
- Mentor junior and fresher team members through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance.
- Apply best practices in system performance, security, and operations.
- Resolve day-to-day technical challenges independently and proactively.
- Maintain strong working knowledge in SAP Basis and related technical domains.
- Bring experience in full-cycle SAP projects, especially experience in the Retail industry is an advantage.
- Participate in team training initiatives and help upskill internal resources.
- Minimum of 8 years as an SAP Basis Consultant or relevant experience.
- Involved in at least 5 full cycle projects or equivalent experience.
- Experienced in SAP S/4HANA Implementation, migration/conversion to S/4HANA, experience in any DB, expert in SAP HANA/Sybase DB.
- Experienced and hands-on in one of the three hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/GCP) and willing to learn the remaining to meet project requirements if needed.
- Experience working with SAP Delivery teams on migrations or conversions in on-premise, SAP RISE private cloud environments, and SAP public cloud.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and Vietnamese.
- Technical knowledge and gap analysis experience.
- Detailed understanding of business operations to ensure the best solutions are provided to the customer.
- Conduct SAP Training with SAP Education official documents.
- Work as part of the SAP project team and support helpdesk tickets when required.
- High teamwork attitude, responsibility, independent working ability, self-study.
- Experience in SAP training and training team members is an advantage.
