Legal and Compliance Officer
TDI APJ is looking for a skilled and motivated Legal and Compliance Officer to support our growing business. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is passionate about ensuring ethical and compliant business practices across Southeast Asia.
- Provide legal review and advice on commercial contracts, employment law, and regulatory matters.
- Standardizing commercial contracts and ensuring the company’s operations adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and enforcing internal compliance policies in line with local and regional regulations, monitoring regulatory changes, and advising senior management on legal risks.
- Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with external counsel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate legal and compliance documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; legal qualification in Malaysia or Vietnam preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally in a regional setting.
- Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
